Intron splicing-mediated expression of AAV Rep and Cap genes

Virovek announced today that its manuscript entitled “Intron splicing-mediated expression of AAV Rep and Cap genes and production of AAV vectors in insect cells” has been accepted for publication in the peer-reviewed journal “Molecular Therapy.”

Intron splicing-mediated overlapping gene expression in insect cells has never been reported and this novel technology should greatly promote the use of insect cells for AAV vector production.
